I walked along the road beside the Mekong River all the way to the temple. There were small huts on the river, and when everything came together, it made for one of the most beautiful sunsets I have enjoyed.

In the late afternoon, walking along the Mekong River, I saw Khmer people also visiting Strung Treng. They were taking photos with the fish statue by the river. I think this province is a popular destination for Khmer travelers because it is the northernmost province of the country. After watching the dolphins at Kracheh, they come to visit Strung Treng or head to the dolphin viewing spot at the border.
