mr.hotsia recommends hotels. Patuxai is a beautiful viewpoint in Vientiane. Anyone visiting Vientiane should definitely visit here. They have a fountain show with music synchronized to the water. It's a musical fountain that I really like. I stood at the top of Patuxai and looked down at the view, enjoying the fountain and listening to Lao music. It was wonderful. According to locals, the fountain operates from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also runs during the day on holidays. The night fountain show is said to be beautiful.
