Actually, there are similar coffee shops in Vientiane, but their air conditioning is not as cool and refreshing as True Coffee’s. Whether you are hot in Vang Vieng or driving a 4-wheel vehicle from Phongsaly, coming here will relieve your tiredness and heat.
For me, sipping coffee at True Coffee while watching Lao people pass by feels like sitting in the Thai Embassy, sitting in Thailand and looking into Laos. 32 baht per hour or 8,000 kip in Lao currency (just divide by 4, which is not expensive compared to internet prices in Laos). Besides coffee and Wifi, they also have cakes and fruit juices. So when you come to Vientiane, try stopping by True Coffee to relax and hang out. Support Thai businesses so they can keep serving tourists continuously. Open air in front of the shop, when thirsty, this drink will refresh you. You can also see Khmer script markings on the left. Inside True Coffee Vientiane, internet costs 32 baht per hour. They offer currency exchange for US / Thai / Kip. I didn’t taste if it’s delicious, but I bought this bottle because I was thirsty.
