I ate there two or three times but it didn't suit my taste. Another restaurant is Diamond Cage & Restaurant serving Thai, Chinese, and Burmese food No (42/a), Block (3). Mandalay-Lashio road, Phin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Division, Tel 085-23083, 085-22192 This place has air conditioning, delicious food, suits my taste. Unfortunately, I found it only later. The local food culture here has Indian influences. Restaurants sell tea and roti. Most restaurants do not allow alcohol consumption.
I asked several restaurants; most do not allow drinking, but many make exceptions seeing tourists. The street with many restaurants is the main Mandalay-Lashio road. Another place I had lunch was in Pyin Oo Lwin Flower Garden (National Kandawgyi Gardens). I ordered Burmese fried rice or Tamintjo. This was the only dish I ordered. Breakfast was at the hotel; most hotels in this city provide breakfast.
Fresh coffee shops are very rare here, but there is one walking from the accommodation past the clock tower to the left. They also serve Western food. The fried chicken is delicious. This place has good tea and is called Golden Triangle Cafe and Bakery. Many foreigners sit here, mostly tourists. Another place with fresh coffee is Diamond Cage & Restaurant which I already recommended. When I stayed in Pyin Oo Lwin (pyin oo lwin), it was Chinese New Year. Many restaurants were closed.

Food prices at restaurants range from 100-200 per dish if the restaurant is large.
