This was my first serious trip to Pattaya, staying overnight. At night, I walked along Pattaya Walking Street. The night market on Walking Street is very lively with street vendors on both sides and many beautiful women on the streets. Many greeted me in Chinese.
Many greeted me in Indonesian and Malay. Most tourists are men. The nightlife atmosphere makes it common for women to approach you while walking on Walking Street and along Pattaya Beach. Pattaya has many massage shops. While looking for a men's haircut place, I found many hair salons and massage shops, but eventually found a good barber. When I travel abroad, I usually try local massages, but in Pattaya, I didn't try because there are so many options, I didn't know which to choose.
Also, it’s inconvenient to film while getting a massage. Normally, whether it's Balinese, Vietnamese, Khmer, Burmese, or Indian massage, I always ask to record a clip. The main daytime activities in Pattaya include parasailing and jet skiing. Pattaya Beach sunsets are beautiful, with golden skies during the rainy season, and you can see the sun setting right on the beach. Pattaya is vibrant and lively at night. Westerners and foreigners sit in clubs and bars, making friends and enjoying nightlife in their own style. It's hard to imagine the Pattaya nightlife experience without visiting.
If you haven't tried walking and exploring yourself, the number one hotel I recommend in Pattaya is Wave Hotel. It's a new hotel with beautiful colorful decor and well-designed rooms. I was impressed by their signature dish, lamb massaman curry, which was very delicious. Breakfast here is served as individual dishes, ordered unlimitedly by guests, and every dish is tasty. The hotel is right on the beach, with views of the sunset. Another hotel is Siam Bayshore Resort and Spa, located near the pier to Koh Larn, the starting point of Pattaya Walking Street.
