I stayed with a friend who is a retired soldier from the 27th Military Technical School. His girlfriend, Nok, cooked Thai Phuan-style Pad Krapow with fermented pork sausage (naem) for me. She used naem bought from Thai Phuan and stir-fried it with chili and garlic. This dish was really delicious. Remember, this is Lopburi’s Thai Phuan Pad Krapow recipe. For dinner and overnight, I stayed at Baan Suan Pluk Rak or Colonel Yaem’s house, a friend who is an electrician like me. His house arranged two rooms for friends to stay.
