Travel Nan Province: Pha Chu Nan
http://www.hotsia.com > Travel Nan Province > Pha Chu Nan Travel trip in Nan Province, morning alms giving, Chiang Kham - Nan route, Nan city vegetable topped Rad Na, mural paintings at Wat Phumin, travel to Thung Chang, Huai Kon, Huai Kon border market, Huai Kon international checkpoint - Nam Ngeun checkpoint. Pha Chu is located in Sri Nan National Park. If traveling from Nan city, go to Wiang Sa, then turn left to Wiang Sa heading to Na Noi.

The trip from Nan to Pha Chu takes about 1-2 hours. Alternatively, you can come from Uttaradit through Ban Khok district on a well-paved road to Na Noi, but the road is a bit steep with some gravel on curves. Pha Chu is best visited in winter only; in summer, there is little to see except the world's longest flagpole (or so they say). In winter, visitors come to see the sea of mist and camp overnight to enjoy the atmosphere. I once stayed overnight at Pha Chu; it was very cold at night, and in the morning, the mist covered the entire camping area.
