Mr.Hotsia's Pork Blood Soup Nai Chui Nakhon Sawan: A local dish that mr.hotsia must fly to taste
Many times when I, mr.hotsia, travel to various provinces in Thailand, I try to find something unique that truly represents that city. This time in Nakhon Sawan, I was determined to tryNai Chui's Pork Blood Soupbecause I had heard its reputation for a long time from locals and passing tourists.
This restaurant is located near Wat Chan Market, an area I walked through from my accommodation at Grand Wisanu not far away. The market atmosphere is lively with many food stalls. But when I came across Nai Chui's Pork Blood Soup, which looks simple without fancy decoration but attracts with its aroma and trustworthy vibe, I immediately knew this place was special.
What stands out about this pork blood soup is the meticulous selection of high-quality pork and offal. The pork has no unpleasant smell at all. The broth is rich, deep, and balanced in flavor, not greasy or bland like other places. I ordered the regular pork blood soup with all ingredients: pork pieces, blood, and offal. But it wasn’t enough, so I added another bowl of pure pork meatballs called “On The Rock,” which are well-seasoned minced pork balls. Eating them with a bit of blood was truly amazing.
While I was eating, I noticed a female doctor dining there as well, showing that this place is clean and trusted by locals and health-conscious people alike. This reassured me that it’s not only delicious but also clean and safe.
Why is Nai Chui’s Pork Blood Soup a must-try in Nakhon Sawan?
Nakhon Sawan is not only famous for its floating markets and beautiful nature but also for its diverse and delicious local food culture. Nai Chui’s Pork Blood Soup is one of the dishes that best reflects the essence of Nakhon Sawan because of its uniquely rich broth and tender, odorless pork. This style of pork blood soup is hard to find in many other provinces.
If you visit Wat Chan Market, don’t miss tasting the pork blood soup here. And if you want to extend your local food experience, I recommend tryingJe Huay’s Fried Mussels Nakhon Sawanwhich is equally famous, along with Rad Na with vegetable tops at the Nakhon Sawan Century Market, which I have also featured in other articles and on my YouTube channel.
Getting There and Access
If you stay near Grand Wisanu in Nakhon Sawan, getting to Nai Chui’s Pork Blood Soup is very convenient. I walked through a small alley connected to Wat Chan Market, taking about 10 minutes. The market atmosphere is full of shops and interesting local food, making this trip not just about eating but also experiencing the local lifestyle and warmth of the people.
Nai Chui’s Pork Blood Soup opens early, perfect for those who want to recharge before continuing their day or for anyone wanting an authentic Thai breakfast. I, mr.hotsia, recommend coming early because the delicious dishes, especially the “On The Rock” minced pork balls I mentioned, often sell out quickly.
