Kob Kero TV takes Mr. hotsia to Khao To Sae, Phuket | Phuket view

When talking about Phuket, many people think of clear seas, white sandy beaches, and the evening sunlight shining through coconut trees, but for Mr. hotsia, experiencingKhao To Saeis a new dimension of traveling in Phuket that is not just about beaches but immersing in nature, lifestyle, and a different perspective of this old town.

This time, I traveled with Kob Kero TV, which felt like taking us to a fresh experience at Khao To Sae. This place is not just an ordinary viewpoint but a hiking trail full of stories about the community and nature perfectly blended.

The charm of Khao To Sae

Khao To Sae is located not far from Phuket town. It is a viewpoint where you can clearly and beautifully see the whole city and the Andaman Sea. This high spot is perfect for those who want to escape the city's hustle, relax, breathe fresh air, and enjoy a panoramic view.

What impressed me especially was the hiking trail, which is not too difficult but challenging enough for light exercise. Along the way, there are big trees and shade that provide a cool feeling, not too hot because Phuket’s afternoon sun can be strong. But here, it is surprisingly shady.

Community lifestyle on Khao To Sae

On the way up the mountain, I talked with local villagers who live a simple and warm lifestyle. They still firmly preserve Phuket’s culture and traditions, growing kitchen vegetables, raising fish, and doing small-scale farming, which creates a charming and admirable community image.

For those who enjoy learning about local culture, I recommend asking the locals, or if lucky, you might get to taste authentic Phuket local dishes made from fresh local ingredients, as I have written about in my article.Phuket local cuisineRecommended must-try dishes of Phuket

View and photograph at Khao To Sae

When reaching the summit of Khao To Sae, the view is truly worth the effort. Here you can see the landscape of Phuket town, the harbor, and the Andaman Sea widely. At times when I visited in the evening, the sunset reflecting on the sea made the view warm and very romantic.

Photography enthusiasts must not miss this spot because it’s perfect for capturing wide views and selfies with nature. For those who want professional-looking photos, I recommend going in the morning or late afternoon to get the best natural light.

How to get there and additional tips

To complete your Phuket trip fully, I recommend checking out my trip article about renting a motorcycle to explore Ko Yao Noi, which is not far from Phuket.Speedboat travel from Phuket to Ko Yao Noi, motorcycle rental for Ko Yao Noi tripwhich is another destination offering a different sea and community atmosphere.

Also, if you want to fully experience Phuket’s local food, don’t forget to stop by markets and local restaurants.
