Friendship and Flavors in Ayutthaya with Mr.Hotsia Anne On Tour Chanchai Net

I, Mr.Hotsia, had a special opportunity to join Anne On Tour and Khun Chanchai from the online community www.ไฟฟ้าไทย.com on a one-day trip to Ayutthaya. It was our first time traveling together. I can say this trip was not just for fun but truly an exciting journey, just like all our names suggest.

An Extraordinary Journey from Chiang Mai to the Ancient City of Ayutthaya

This trip started from Chiang Mai by free train, stopping at small stations along the way such as Lampang, Uttaradit, Taphan Hin, Phichit, and Lopburi before reaching Ayutthaya, our final destination. Traveling by train allowed me to enjoy the scenery at a relaxed pace and experience the local community life along the railway, which is rarely visited by tourists. This charm is what I loved most about this trip.

Savoring Pa Lek’s Boat Noodles, Delicious as Always in Ayutthaya

Upon arriving in Ayutthaya, the first thing I had to do was eat boat noodles. The shop that impressed me the most wasPa Lek’s Boat NoodlesA famous shop where the original delicious taste remains unchanged. The broth is rich, noodles chewy and soft, fresh and clean offal, and the prices are wallet-friendly. Khun Chanchai and I each had two bowls without holding back. It was a perfect start to the trip that energized us well.

Exploring Khlong Chao Chet with an Intriguing Atmosphere

After a full stomach, we went to see Khlong Chao Chet. Although the water level had dropped somewhat, it still held the charm of an ancient canal closely connected to the lifestyle of Ayutthaya’s people. This canal is not crowded with tourists, allowing me to fully enjoy the peace and nature. It’s another side of Ayutthaya that many often overlook.

Resting at Khum Suphan Hotel, Suphanburi Province

After a day full of traveling and exploring the ancient city, we drove to Suphanburi Province to rest at Khum Suphan Hotel. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and good service, perfect for travelers wanting to relax after a full day of sightseeing. I liked it here because I could experience local life up close, and it was an ideal stopover before continuing our journey.

Ayutthaya: The Ancient City That Never Sleeps and Full of Stories

Ayutthaya is a city beloved by international tourists. Unfortunately, many Thais still don’t pay much attention, possibly because of the repetitive image of ancient temples. But for me, Ayutthaya is full of unique charm, being a riverside city harmoniously surrounded by the Chao Phraya and Pa Sak Rivers. There are many temples and historical sites worth visiting, such asWat Na Phra Meruwhich remains well-preserved and was not destroyed during the Ayutthaya period. I recommend seeing the principal Buddha image that has a unique appearance resembling Burmese style with your own eyes.

Ayothaya Floating Market and Khlong Sarabua Floating Market: Two Vibrant Floating Markets in Ayutthaya

For those wanting to experience floating market life, Ayutthaya has two highlights not to be missed:Ayothaya Floating MarketandKhlong Sarabua Floating MarketAyothaya Floating Market is very popular with its authentic retro atmosphere, offering boat rides along the canal. The market is full of food stalls and souvenir shops in a traditional floating market setting. Khlong Sarabua Floating Market focuses on student performances and a warm small community vibe. I like both markets because each has its own charm, but if you ask me, I prefer the genuine ancient feel of Ayothaya Floating Market.

Fun with Anne On Tour and Fish Trapping Competition

We ended the trip with an exciting activity joining Anne On Tour, a popular YouTube channel focusing on travel and fishing, shooting, and trapping fish—everything related to nature. We held a fish trapping competition for “Ai Ngo,” a local fish, in a fun atmosphere at Bang Bo, Samut Prakan Province. It was a unique experience that allowed me to deeply learn about community life.

Don’t Forget to Experience Ayutthaya the mr.hotsia Way

Ayutthaya is not just an ancient city full of temples but also a city rich in flavors and interesting lifestyles, from delicious boat noodles to colorful floating markets and warm communities. Most importantly, the journey always lets me discover new stories. For anyone wanting to travel Ayutthaya in a unique way, follow this trip. I guarantee a truly satisfying experience.
