The first thing I did was walk to the fresh market in the town center. Bac Kan’s morning market is like the community’s hub. Here you can find fresh vegetables, local fruits, and Vietnamese dishes that are hard to find in big cities. After recharging with breakfast, I went to explore the nature around Bac Kan, which has high mountains covered with lush green forests and clear streams, cool all day. Not far from the town, there is a viewpoint where you can see small villages and rice fields with locals working. I felt like I stepped into a living painting.

For those who enjoy hiking and exploring nature, Bac Kan has trails that are not too difficult and suitable for everyone. I myself tried a small mountain hike here to watch the sunrise, which was so beautiful that I wanted to share it with friends to see the beauty of northern Vietnam that is still little known.
