Vietnamese Noodles Ha Tinh Ha Tinh Vietnam by mr.hotsia

When it comes to Vietnamese food that I, mr.hotsia, love the most, no matter where I travel, one of my favorite dishes I always try isVietnamese NoodlesAnd this time I had the chance to taste authentic Vietnamese noodles from the city ofHa Tinhor as Thai people pronounce it “Ha Ting,” a small province not as famous as Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, but I can say the noodle taste here is just as impressive as anywhere else.

I arrived in Ha Tinh in the peaceful atmosphere of a small coastal town located in the central northern part of Vietnam. This city may not have many reviews or much information on the internet, but walking through the morning market, observing local life, and tasting noodles at a roadside shop made me feel the sincerity and true deliciousness that you can’t find elsewhere.

The path to Ha Tinh noodles that mr.hotsia doesn’t want you to miss

From my previous travel experience in northern Vietnam, I visited Lang Son city, which is not far from Ha Tinh (you can read more details atLang Son Province Vietnam). Although Ha Tinh is not as famous for food as other cities, the noodles here have a unique character that impressed me greatly.

Ha Tinh Vietnamese noodles differ from others in that the broth is carefully simmered from pork bones and meat, with a mild flavor and the aroma of authentic Vietnamese herbs. The noodles are soft and chewy rice noodles, combined with fresh side ingredients such as bean sprouts, coriander, green onions, and fresh chili peppers provided to adjust the taste as you like.

Roadside atmosphere and lifestyle that I, mr.hotsia, experienced

I explored Ha Tinh’s morning market. The noodle shop I chose was a small roadside stall run by a kind local owner. This kind of atmosphere is what I like the most because it shows the authentic Vietnamese lifestyle that still firmly preserves its traditions.

The noodle shop here is not fancy or famous, but the taste and care in every bowl made me return many times. The broth is simmered until it has a sweet and mellow flavor, served with large and small pieces of pork and fresh offal that is thoroughly cleaned, served in a hot bowl along with fresh vegetables you can add to your liking.

Unique taste and why you should come to Ha Tinh

Vietnamese noodles in Ha Tinh differ from other cities in that the broth is less sweet and has a stronger herbal aroma. I, mr.hotsia, feel the naturalness of the ingredients and the dedication of every vendor who carefully prepares the dish.

Additionally, Ha Tinh is a city with a port and coastline, so some noodle shops offer special menus with fresh seafood such as shrimp, squid, or boiled fish to add freshness. If you like seafood, you must try to find a chance to taste it here.

Travel and accommodation recommendations in Ha Tinh

For traveling to Ha Tinh, I recommend taking a bus or van from nearby major cities such as Hanoi or Lang Son, which is convenient and affordable. If you want more information about traveling in northern Vietnam, check out my experience atVinh Long Bus Stationwhich will help you get a clearer picture of traveling in Vietnam.

Accommodation options in Ha Tinh are still limited, but I recommend small hotels or guesthouses around the city that are clean and budget-friendly.
