But for mr.hotsia, one dish I am fond of and must try when visiting here is the “Vietnamese Tom Yum Hot Pot,” which is similar yet distinct from our local tom yum. Its flavor and serving style have a unique charm unlike any other.

I found this tom yum hot pot in a small alley in Ho Chi Minh City near a small fresh market. The atmosphere was filled with the chatter of vendors and the aroma of fresh herbs displayed on stalls. I chose to sit on a small plastic chair and opened a menu full of various Vietnamese dishes, but my eyes immediately stopped at this tom yum hot pot.
