Cuisine of Tuyên Quang Province http://www.hotsia.com > Tuyên Quang Province, Vietnam > Cuisine of Tuyên Quang Province Trip with Mr.Hotsia to Tuyên Quang Province (Tuyên Quang) Cuisine of Tuyên Quang People Hotels in Tuyên Quang Tuyên Quang Morning Market Recommended hotels in Hanoi, Vietnam Book affordable hotels here The local food I saw here is mainly boiled snails, with many stalls near hotels selling plates for 60 baht. There is also pho and quail eggs.

I read that boiled corn is very famous here, but I haven't seen it yet. Shops sell white liquor in jars. There are bun or noodle dishes. Vietnamese steamed rice rolls are available but not in large quantities. There are food stalls selling meals for about 70-100 baht per person. I rarely saw university students in this town; I think most go to study in Hanoi. The weather was hot with some rain during my visit. Unique local dishes include pigeon rice porridge and boiled snails sold at almost every roadside stall.
I stayed three nights in this town. For breakfast, I ate at roadside stalls near the morning market. For lunch, there were street food stalls serving meals. There was also a fried chicken stall, though not FCC. Coffee shops offered cakes and Western food. For dinner, I recommend enjoying fresh draft beer. Even if fried rice is not available, they will order it from elsewhere for us.
