Affordable and good options in Nha Trang: Along Nha Trang beach road and the third street from the beach, there are hotels and guesthouses cheaper than the beachfront big hotels. For budget travelers, this is enough. When I stayed in Nha Trang, I stayed at Rosy Hotel, 400 baht per night, air-conditioned room with refrigerator, wifi, hot water. For those with a bigger budget, I recommend staying at a beachfront hotel. The location is excellent with beautiful views. I recommend one: Novotel Hotel in Nha Trang. It's a large hotel with a great location, sea view from the room, right on Nha Trang beach, and easy access to the Night Market area at night.

Nearby hotels in this area range from about 400-1000 baht, much cheaper than beachfront hotels. It's not far to the beach, so for those on a budget, stay in this zone.
