"Cao Dai Religion" is a religion less than 100 years old in Vietnam, born from the combination of various world religions. If you want to visit this temple, buy a one-day tour from Ho Chi Minh City. The one-day tour will take you to the Cao Dai Temple located in Tay Ninh Province and also to the Cu Chi Tunnels at a tour price of just a few hundred baht. Cao Dai is a new religion with a grand concept influenced by Buddhism,
Taoism, and Confucianism. It follows Taoist teachings of non-violence, honesty, doing good, and avoiding evil, ancestor worship, and love through practice. This temple has branches overseas, including Australia and America. There are about 30,000 followers abroad and approximately 5 million worldwide. Most followers are in southern Vietnam. When visiting the temple, you will see devotees dressed in white praying multiple times a day.
During my visit, devotees dressed in white Ao Dai lined up to chant with traditional music and singers above. The religion's emblem is an eye symbol, clearly visible in the center front of the main hall. When visiting, please strictly respect the host's rules. Do not enter restricted zones or climb where prohibited. Religion is a matter of belief that we must respect each other. Mr.hotsia March 2012. I recommend good and affordable hotels in Ho Chi Minh City.
