เป็นจังหวัดในภาคเหนือของสามเหลี่ยมปากแม่น้ำแดง (Red river) ภาคเหนือติดกับจังหวัดบั๊กซาง(Bac Giang) จังหวัดบั๊กนิงเป็นประตูสู่ตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ เมืองหลวงของจังหวัดคือเมืองบั๊กนิง(Bac Ninh๗ จังหวัดนี้ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของฮานอย ห่างจากฮานอย30 กิโลเมตร ทางทิศใต้ติดกับจังหวัดไหเซือง(Hai Duong) จังหวัดนี้มีคนอยู่จำนวนมากเป็นอันดับสามของประเทศรองจาก กรุงฮานอยและโฮจิมินห์ซิตี
ผมเดินทางมาเที่ยวจังหวัดบั๊กนิงโดยนั่งรถประจำทางมาจากจังหวัดบั๊กซาง รถจะวิ่งขนานกับรางรถไฟมา บางช่วงแล่นบนรางรถไฟที่เป็นข้ามแม่น้ำ ผมใช้เวลาเดินเล่นจังหวัดนี้สองสามชั่วโมง ไปลองนั่งร้านกาแฟของจังหวัด ดูวิถีชีวิตของชาวบั๊กนิง ขากลับมาฮานอยผมไปต่อรถที่สถานีขนส่งบั๊กหนิงไปฮานอย รถวิ่งเส้นทางเล็กไม่ใช่ทางหลัก ได้เห็นเวียดนามที่ชานเมือง จริงๆแล้วผมได้ยืนกลับจากที่นี่มาฮานอยส่วนหนึ่งด้วย รถเมย์เต็มครับ mr.hotsia มกราคม 2556
