การเดินทางจากเมืองไชยะบุรีไปหลวงพระบางโดยถประจำทาง ต้องไปขึ้นนถที่สถานีขนส่งสายเหนือไชยยะบุรีที่อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองไปทางเหนือ 7 กิโลเมตร ขนส่งสายเหนือไชยะมีรถไปหงสา เมืองเงินด้วย สำหรับรถไปหลวงพระบางมีวันละ 2 เที่ยว 09.00 น. และ 14.00 น. ใช้เวลาในการเดินทาง 2 ชั่วโมง
ในวันที่ผมไปยังต้องเอารถไปข้ามเรือที่บ้านท่าเดื่อ แต่ผมเห็นสะพานข้ามแม่น้ำโขงที่บ้านท่าเดื่อใกล้เสร็จเต็มที่สะพานกำลังเชื่อมเข้าหากัน ถนนก๋เกือบเสร็จ หากถนนและสพานเสร็จเรียบร้อยผมว่าการเดินทางสะดวกขึ้นมากชั่วโมงกว่าๆก็น่าจะเดินทางจากตัวเมืองไชยะถึงหลวงพระบางครับ mr.hotsia พ.ค. 2556
