สถานีขนส่งอุดมไชย 2014 สถานีขนส่งอุดมไชยดูไม่คึกคักเหมือนโคราชบ้านเรา ถึงแม้เป็นเมืองชุมทางเหมือนกัน อุดมไชยเมืองท่าชุมทางในการเดินทางของลาวไปทางเหนือพงสาลี หลวงน้ำทา เมืองขวา จะไปไทย จีน เวียดนาม ทางบกต้องมาหยุดพักที่เมืองไชย แขวงอุดมไชยทั้งนั้น หลายปีก่อนที่ผมแบกเป้ไปเที่ยวเดียนเบียนฟูคนเดียวก็ใช้เส้นทางเชียงของ อุดมไชย เมืองขวา เดียนเบียนฟู ผมว่าเมืองนี้เจริญเร็วมากที่เห็นหลายปีที่ผ่านมา
สถานีขนส่งในปี 2557 ยังไม่มีอะไรเปลี่ยนแปลง ร้านขายของกินอยู่รอบๆ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นข้าวเหนียวหมูทอด ไก่ย่าง เรื่องห้องน้ำมีให้แต่เสียเงินนะในลาวเข้าห้องน้ำครั้งละ 8 บาท หรือ 2,000 กีบ ผมใช้วิธีพักที่โรงแรมอุดมไชยฝั่งตรงข้าม แล้วก็เข้าห้องน้ำที่นั่นจนวินาทีสุดท้ายที่รถออกครับ mr.hotsia เที่ยวสะใจ 31 มีนาคม 2557
