ตลาดสดพระตะบอง
สีสันของพระตะบองที่ห้ามพลาดเลยคือตลาดสดพระตะบอง เป็นตลาดเก่าตั้งริมแม่น้ำ ตลาดจะไม่ได้เริ่มเช้ามืดเหมือนที่อื่นๆ แต่จะเริ่มตอนสายสักเก้าโมงเช้าสีสันของตลาดอยู่ที่ชาวบ้านจะเอาปลามาขายกันเต็มไปหมด ปูใบตองเอาปลาวางลง เป็นปลาสดที่ไม่ตายแต่ที่นี่เขาไม่ใส่น้ำ ปล่อยให้มันหายใจอยู่บนใบตอง ชาวเขมรก็มาเดินเลือกซื้อกัน ปลาที่เห็นบางอย่างหายากในไทยแล้ว
ที่พระตะบองมีสองตลาดคือตลาดเก่าและตาดใหม่ ตลาดใหม่อยู่ติดกับสถานีขนส่งพระตะบอง มีร้านขายของแห้งทั่วไปอยู่เยอะ ผมชอบตลาดเก่ามากกว่าดูดั้งเดิมดี ในตลาดยังเห็นปลาร้าแบบต่างๆหลายอย่าง ที่เมืองไทยผมเห็นไม่กี่แบบครับ mr.hotsia ธันวาคม 2554
