วัดนกกอ (Nokor Bachey Temple) ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองกำปงจาม 2.2 กิโลเมตร บนถนนสาย 7 ห่างจากกรุงพนมเปญ 122 กิโลเมตร หากนั่งรถมาจากพนมเปญหรือเสียมเรียบจะต้องผ่านวัดนี้ก่อนเข้าเมืองทางขวามือ นักท่องเที่ยวเดินทางจากพนมเปญจะเห็นประตูที่เจดีย์ด้านขวา ตัววัดได้สร้างขึ้นในกลางศตวรรษที่ 11 โดยในสมัยของพระเจ้าสุริยะวรมันที่ 2 (Suryavarman II)
การเดินทางมายังวัดให้เรียกรถตุ๊กที่จอดแถวๆสถานีขนส่งกำปงจาม ค่ารถไม่แพง หรือจะนั่งมอเตอร์ไซค์มาคนละประมาณ 1 USD (แนะนำจ่ายเป็นดอลล่าร์จะถูกว่า) หรือจะให้เขามารับตอนกลับด้วยก็จะสะดวก เพราะแถวนี้ไม่มีรถโดยสารต้องเดินออกมาถนนหลักซึ่งห่างหลายร้อยเมตรครับ mr.hotsia ไม่ได้ให้รถรอ ใช้วิธีเดินชมวิถีชีวิตของชาวบ้านแถวนี้ออกมาเรื่อยๆ แล้วมาขึ้นมอเตอร์ไซค์รับจ้างปากซอย หนึ่งในคนขับสามารถพูดไทยได้เพราะทำงานในไทยมาก่อนครับ mr.hotsia เมษายน 2555
