หมีใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก เป็นรูปปั้นหมีควายที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก สูงถึง 15 เมตร ตั้งอยู่ที่ สวนสาธารณะเฉลิมพระเกียรติ หมู่ที่ 7 ต.ท่าพระ จากจังหวัดขอนแก่นมาตามถนนมิตรภาพ มุ่งสู่จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ระยะทางประมาณ 17 กิโลเมตร เลี้ยงซ้ายอีก 1 กิโลเมตร จะเห็นเจ้าหมียักษ์ยืนยิ้มให้รถที่ผ่านไปมาครับ
สำหรับที่มาที่ไปสมัยก่อนนี้มีนายพราน(อีกแล้ว) ฆ่าหมีแล้วมาตายที่หนองน้ำนี้ แล้วดีมันก็ละลายไปในหนองน้ำ ชาวบ้านได้มาใช้น้ำก็หายป่วยไข้ละสิที่นี้บอกปากต่อปาก จนได้ชื่อหนองน้ำนี้ว่า “หนองบัวดีหมี” ส่วนรูปปั้นหมียักษ์ก็เพื่อให้เข้ากับชื่อหนองน้ำ คนจะได้มาเที่ยวกันเยอะๆ ครับ มิสเตอร์ฮีอตเซียว่าหลายคนยังไม่รู้ว่ามีรูปปั้นหมีควายใหญ่ที่สุดในโลกอยู่ในประเทศไทยนะเนี่ย Mr.Hotsia เที่ยวสะใจขอนแก่น
