Takaew is a town you can walk around quickly, and there are no motorcycle taxis like in bigger cities, so I had to explore on foot to find a place to stay.

Since Takaew is hot year-round, having air conditioning is essential.

Room rates here are about 10-12 USD, which is reasonable for the amenities and location. I want to emphasize that in Cambodia, air conditioning usually costs a little extra, but at Houy Meyly Guest House, free WIFI is included with no additional charge, unlike many hotels in Thailand. This is something I, mr.hotsia, hope to see more of in the future because charging extra for WIFI is something I do not support.

Experience Small Town Life and Local Markets

After resting, I explored the nearby Takaew market, which is the heart of the town. It offers fresh food, dried goods, and many interesting snacks.
