This is a rare atmosphere to find in Thailand. Mr.Hotsia December 2011 adapts the architecture of the mid 11th century and the end of the 12th century. The temple was first built by King Dharanindravarman II (1050-1066) and was finally completed by King Jayavarman VII (1181-1220). The temple is located on top of an approximately 400-meter (1,310 ft) high mountain in Koh Tey 2 commune, Banan District, about 15 kilometers
(9 mi) from the provincial town via Provincial Road No. 155 parallel to the Sangker River. In the mountain valley, there are Ku Teuk and two main natural wells, named Bit Meas and Chhung or Chhung Achey. Travel map of Phnom Penh. For a larger view, click here.
