At first, I didn't know that there was a Bong Dong Yuang staff in Phnom Penh until I went to Sar Phom to look for travel information and found out. After that, I hired a tuk-tuk to tour around. I learned that Thai people like to make vows and pray to this giant statue. Khmer people also continuously make vows. It is said that whatever you vow for, you will get. When I visited, I saw people bringing roasted pork as offerings and many people kept making vows. The Bong Dong Yuang staff is located next to the provincial high school.
Mr.Hotsia rarely sees the school uniforms of Khmer students; I have only seen those of Laos and Vietnam. Today, after taking pictures of the giant holding the staff, I also have pictures of Khmer students in Phnom Penh to share.
