Their livelihood depends on tourism. I like the beautiful Batak houses. One of Indonesia's ethnic groups located in North Sumatra, Medan, Toba. A tour around Tuk-Tuk Village takes about 1 hour. I walked at 4:00 PM. Most of the lakeside Tuk-Tuk Village area has restaurants, accommodations, and mixed residential houses. Inside, away from Lake Toba, many farm rice. Several run Batak-style massage shops, but mostly they survive because of tourists.
This place is famous because tourists continue their journey to see the orangutans on Samosir Island, Lake Toba. Mr.Hotsia enjoys BATAK padi, Batak rice fields.
