The hotel I stayed at was Hotel C1, which I found to be the best value and quality hotel in Sumenep (Sumenep hotel). The rooms have high ceilings and an open design. Staff can speak English. A trip to the market by rickshaw costs 15 baht. The atmosphere is nice and safe. I stayed here for two nights. I recommend booking in advance to secure your accommodation before traveling because it can get fully booked. This hotel is newly opened and very popular. The price is only 450 baht per night.
If you want to book Hotel C1 to stay at the same place as Mr.Hotsia, there are actually many other new accommodations nearby in the same alley. I think the prices are similar. I did not inquire about accommodations in the city center zone, but prices are probably cheaper. However, the convenience might not be as good as what I recommend, but it comes with being closer to the city center. Mr.Hotsia travels with excitement.
