Indonesia, I think the meat is tough as if it wasn't marinated. Their goat satay has no odor but is not as fragrant as other places. The meat is not tender, and the dipping sauce is very sweet. It can't compare to what is sold in Bali. I think the skilled cooks have all moved to sell in other cities. It seems that people here don't really favor it either. I only counted three shops. "Really disappointed." There might be great makers in other cities I didn't visit, or maybe their taste is unique. Deliciousness is a personal preference, related to my childhood familiarity.
