Originally it was not a cave, but machinery and human effort were used to create it as a cave for Than Kham Tai to reside in. It includes a meeting room for senior military officers, a reception room for domestic and foreign guests, a research room, and bedrooms. From Than Kham Tai Cave, one can pass through to Chang Lod Cave, which has a political room and a logistics room. Another route leads to the supreme general staff room.
This is a difficult route, and the area still preserves three large underground chambers. Chang Lod Cave is the largest natural cave, known as Chang Lod Cave. Locals say this cave is so large that elephants can pass through comfortably. The cave has been developed into a club cave, serving as a gathering place for important merit events, a reception area for high-ranking foreign guests, and a venue for art performances, acrobatics, and some sports.
