I had the opportunity to travel here myself and felt that Indawgyi Lake is not just an ordinary tourist spot but a place where nature and local communities coexist harmoniously. Around the lake, there are over 20 villages, mostly inhabited by the Shan ethnic group, also known as the Red Tai, as well as the Kachin people who have lived here for a long time. Don't forget to bring sun protection, a hat, and enough drinking water, as this area is still quite remote and lacks full amenities like big cities. For bird watchers, boating from December to January is the best time.
