Sagaing is located in northern Myanmar, near the source of the Irrawaddy River, the country's main river flowing through several states and major cities. It is a waterway connecting the culture and lifestyle of people in this region. Walking through Sagaing's local markets made me feel like I was stepping back in time to experience the simple lifestyle of the Burmese people.

The Burmese fried rice here is distinctly different from fried rice in many countries. It’s not just ordinary fried rice but a blend of spices favored in Myanmar, including fragrant fried garlic, sesame oil, and fresh seasonal vegetables that add a refreshing touch to the dish.
