For those not living in Bangkok including international tourists visiting Thailand, a must-visit attraction nowadays is Asiatique.

Asiatique is a tourist spot designed with a retro style located by the Chao Phraya River near Charoen Krung Road 72. Opened just a few years ago, Asiatique quickly became a popular destination for Bangkok locals. Recently, a large Ferris wheel was installed and beautifully lit, enhancing the festive atmosphere. The ride costs 150 baht per trip. Asiatique focuses on shops selling antiques with many stores. Along the river, there is a promenade and riverside restaurants.
Activities for visitors at Asiatique include shopping, taking photos in vintage corners for Facebook, and riding the Ferris wheel. Asiatique offers free parking, but be careful on holidays as parking spaces may be insufficient. When I visited, I had a buffet at Baiyoke before coming here. I think this place is best visited at night when it’s cooler for walking. mr.hotsia January 2013 Book hotels in Bangkok cheaper than Asiatique Asia Tique Chao Phraya River Asia Tique
