However, after the dam, the water dries up into sandbanks, so dry that the news reported this year as a severe drought. During the dry season, fishing at the dam's end is very lively. Various river fish are sold at the fish market at the dam's end in Chai Nat.
For example, the croaker fish sold in the north at 200 baht per kilogram is sold at the fish market for 85 baht per kilogram. The fish market at the dam's end is located near the end of the Chao Phraya dam. Fish trading happens from early morning. If you come to Chai Nat, you should not miss it. In the morning, wake up to walk around the fish market at the end of the Chao Phraya River, which is 6 kilometers south. When traveling, satisfy your hunger with fish at Ton Takob restaurant. In the evening, take a walk along the Chao Phraya River where there is a public park and some restaurants nearby. At night, I went to eat grilled pork at Bang 7 restaurant, a famous place in Chai Nat recommended by locals.
