Activities during the visit include watching them cook, shrimp spotting, fishing for squid, shellfish, depending on the season. It varies.
You should call ahead to check what is available during your visit. I really like Koh Phrathong Homestay because there are no tourists, only locals. It's quiet and feels like you are part of the place. Very peaceful and wonderful. I highly recommend everyone to visit here. On the return trip from Koh Phrathong to Bang Daet Pier, Kuraburi Island, the boat leaves exactly at 8:00 AM. If the tide is low, the boat cannot reach Bang Daet Pier, so you have to walk along the canal yourself.
Therefore, bring shorts for convenience. From Bang Daet Pier to Kuraburi town, ask the boatman to call a motorcycle taxi from Kuraburi town to pick you up. The motorcycle fare is 80 baht per trip.
