Exciting travel in Phang Nga province, Phra Thong Island homestay, Phang Nga local cuisine, exciting Takua Pa travel, scenic restaurants in Phang Nga, recommended hotels in Phang Nga. On August 19-20, 2015, I explored an exciting trip to Takua Pa district.

It rained both days during the rainy season, but fortunately, the rain stopped on the morning of the 20th, so I went to visit Little Amazon or Khlong Sang Nee (Little Amazon) located in Bang Nai Si Subdistrict, Takua Pa District, Phang Nga Province. For inquiries, contact the Khlong Sang Nee travel group at 083-175-5910, 086-953-1789. This canal is surrounded by mangrove forest with ancient banyan trees whose roots intertwine, creating a unique sight. When registering as a group, the district chief named it Little Amazon. Visitors come to see various snakes sunbathing for tourists, including locals, foreigners, and Chinese visitors. Some snakes can be up to 2 meters long. The boat driver said the best time is early morning with soft sunlight. After the boat tour, I walked through the old market, which was very quiet. There is a row of Sino-Portuguese old buildings about 100 meters long, mostly uninhabited except for elderly residents. I like it because it feels like entering an ancient town. The old market is 7 kilometers from the municipal market, with a motorcycle taxi fare of 60 baht. I stayed at Pornchai Hotel in front of the market for 450 baht per night. Takua Pa is an old town quieter than I expected. The current district center is on the main Ranong-Phuket road.
It is a transit town with only a few hotels. The old town is 7 kilometers from the new town. People say there are not many young people today, mostly elderly locals and old buildings. Walking around, it feels like that, but I like it because it has a good ancient atmosphere. Mr.Hotsia's exciting trip on September 8, 2015. The accommodation where I stayed in Takua Pa.
