Kho Kai Island (Kho Kai) Krabi: A small paradise you must experience yourself

I, mr.hotsia, had the chance to travel again to Krabi province, a land that never disappoints me. This time, my destination is “Kho Kai” or Kho Kai Island, which many may not be familiar with yet. But I can tell you this is one of the peaceful and beautiful spots you shouldn’t miss when visiting Krabi.

Kho Kai Island is not far from the Krabi mainland. It is a small island famous for its limestone rocks shaped like a chicken. Simply looking from the sea, you can see that each rock is unique and striking, like a natural painting intentionally created. I, mr.hotsia, departed from Krabi town in the morning by speedboat docked at Ao Nang Bay. The trip takes only about 20-30 minutes to reach Kho Kai.

The first feeling upon arriving at Kho Kai by boat was the tranquility and the clear sea water that made me sit quietly, admiring the view without wanting to look away. The sea is crystal clear blue, allowing you to see the sandy bottom and schools of fish swimming below. The surrounding atmosphere is natural, still raw and pure.

Activities and Impressions on Kho Kai Island

Kho Kai Island is perfect for those who love peace and want to escape the hustle and bustle of big cities. I, mr.hotsia, walked along the long fine white sandy beach while enjoying the limestone mountain views around the island, which seem to embrace this beauty to protect it from harm. The island has safe snorkeling spots suitable for beginners like me to see coral reefs and various fish welcoming visitors continuously.

If you follow me onVideo: Kho Kai Island in Krabiyou will see real footage I captured, and I must say the beauty of this island must be experienced in person.

Connect Your Krabi Travel Experience

After filling your happiness with nature at Kho Kai, I, mr.hotsia, recommend you take a walk in Krabi town, especially in the evening at the Krabi night market.Krabi Night Marketwhich is full of local food and many souvenirs. Or if you want to start your day with local breakfast, don’t missKrabi Morning Marketwhere I once enjoyed hot rice porridge along with the authentic local lifestyle atmosphere.Read more about Krabi morning market rice porridge

For those who love spicy Southern Thai food, you must not missCook Thewada Restaurantwhich I have reviewed before. Their stir-fried basil menu will make you forget the usual stir-fried basil dishes. Or if you want to try unique snacks, Krabi-style Hainanese chicken rice is another dish I recorded inVideo: Krabi Hainanese Chicken Ricefor you to watch.

Easy to Travel and Suitable for Everyone

Kho Kai Island is located in Mueang Krabi District. The travel is straightforward and can be done by tour or private boat rental. I, mr.hotsia, recommend a day trip (go in the morning and return in the evening) to have enough time to explore and fully experience the island’s atmosphere, as well as time to return and enjoy delicious food at the market in Krabi town.
