Travel Suphanburi with mr.hotsia: A lifestyle and flavors you must try

This time, I had the chance to revisit Suphanburi province again with my travel companions, Anne and Khun Chanchai. This trip was not rushed because I intended to spend time truly experiencing the local lifestyle and culture, not just a quick in-and-out trip like before.

Downtown Accommodation: Khum Suphan Hotel

My friends and I chose to stay atKhum Suphan Hotelwhich is located in the heart of Suphanburi city. The hotel offers reasonable prices and convenient access to various city spots. I was impressed that they provided an extra mattress to comfortably accommodate three people. On the first night after checking in, we went out to celebrate dinner with local dishes at a famous Suphanburi restaurant before returning to rest. Meanwhile, Khun Chanchai and Anne stopped for late-night rice soup and even met some local fans. As for me, I was exhausted early and slept soundly.

Morning Market Walk and the Charm of Street Food

On a new morning in Suphanburi, I got up to stroll and enjoy the atmosphere of the morning market by the Tha Chin River. This market is not far from Khum Suphan Hotel, making it perfect for leisurely browsing fresh food, local products, and the lifestyle of the locals.Suphanburi Morning MarketThis is one of my favorite places because I saw rows of pig heads continuously displayed, as well as delicious fermented fish and carefully selected fresh fish. I enjoyed tasting various street foods, including Khanom Jeen (fermented rice noodles), chili dips, and many unique local dishes found only here.

Stop to Taste Suphanburi-style Stir-fried Holy Basil at Sai Yut Market

After walking through the morning market, my friends and I continued toSai Yut Market, Suphanburiwhich is another lively morning market with delicious food and a bustling atmosphere. Here, I tasted authentic Suphanburi-style stir-fried holy basil, spicy yet balanced, so good that I had to order another plate. It’s a small joy I never miss when visiting here.

Why Stay Overnight in Suphanburi?

Many might think Suphanburi is a province suitable for a day trip from Bangkok, but for me, staying overnight is very important. It allows me to experience the distinct morning and evening atmospheres. The lifestyle of Suphanburi people doesn’t stop at daytime only. The morning market and the evening by the Tha Chin River left a strong impression. Morning walks in the city helped me capture photos and small details that made this trip more meaningful.

Where to Stay? Khum Suphan Hotel is the Right Choice

If you ask me where to stay when visiting Suphanburi, I recommendKhum Suphan Hotelagain because of its central location, convenient access to the morning market and many important attractions, and most importantly, good value for a comfortable stay. I plan to return here on my next visit to Suphanburi.

Must-Visit Attractions and Food in Suphanburi

Suphanburi province offers many interesting attractions, includingHeavenly DragonBanharn-Jamsai Tower or Wat Pa Lelai, which I had visited briefly in the past. This time, I chose to stroll around the city and markets more to truly absorb the local atmosphere. Additionally, there are homestyle restaurants likeBan Nok Spicy Curry Rice Shopnext to Banharn Tower, famous for its spicy flavors loved by locals. I ordered the popular dishes and was truly satisfied.

Video Clip Introducing Suphanburi Atmosphere

For those who want to see the close-up atmosphere of Suphanburi city, I recommend the morning walk video in the city"Morning Walk Around Suphanburi"that I filmed, or the relaxed riverside atmosphere at the Tha Chin River with"Pa Soi Raft, Suphanburi"which shows the genuine lifestyle of the locals.
