This restaurant offers local dishes like fermented pork salad that you won't find in other Vietnamese cities. Highly recommended, you must try it. Fresh beer in Ha Giang Province is also affordable, truly a paradise. I stayed in Ha Giang for two nights. For breakfast, I walked to the market and on the way back ate grilled pork with rice noodles from street vendors. Lunch was from a street stall serving freshly made dishes like tofu stir-fried with tomatoes. For dinner, I skipped rice and went to the fresh beer restaurant I mentioned, enjoying it with snacks.
Ha Giang town is not very large and can be explored on foot. The town has many karaoke bars open both day and night. I did not try them.
