Phra Tabong Phra Tabong Rural Village

Phra Tabong Rural Village http://www.hotsia.com > Phra Tabong > Phra Tabong Rural Village The charm of Phra Tabong that I love the most is visiting the rural villages because here they still use ox carts and horse carts for transportation to the fields. The village I visited is Banon Village, home to Banon Temple. The locals there still live the old-fashioned rural life, which is rare to find in Thailand. I rode an ox cart for the first time in my life here.

When the tuk-tuk passed by the ox, I asked the driver to stop so I could try riding it. In another village, I took a bamboo train to a forest village, then rode a horse cart to explore the authentic lifestyle of the Khmer people there. It was like stepping back in time, something you can no longer see in Thailand. The smiles and warm hospitality of the villagers left an unforgettable impression. mr.hotsia December 2011 Riding an ox cart in Phra Tabong 13 1 9.774 N, 103 14 28.127 E GPS coordinates (POI) Cambodian students returning home at lunch break
