They place fresh fish on banana leaves; the fish are alive but here they do not put them in water, allowing them to breathe on the banana leaves. Khmer people also come to browse and buy. Some fish species seen here are rare in Thailand.
In Phra Tabong, there are two markets: the old market and the new market. The new market is next to the Phra Tabong Bus Station and has many general dry goods shops. I prefer the old market because it looks more traditional.
