The temple was built in the mid-11th century during the reign of King Suryavarman II. To get to the temple, you can take a tuk-tuk parked near the Kampong Cham bus station. The fare is inexpensive, or you can ride a motorcycle taxi for about 1 USD each (paying in dollars is recommended as it is cheaper). You can also arrange for a pick-up on the way back for convenience, as there are no public vehicles nearby and you would need to walk several hundred meters to the main road. Mr.Hotsia does not provide waiting vehicles; instead, enjoy walking and observing the local villagers' way of life along the way.
