Bangalo Street view Bengaluru (Bengaluru) India: Experience the real life of the Silicon Valley of India
I, mr.hotsia, had the opportunity to travel to Bengaluru, also known as Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka state in India. This trip was not just a visit to the technology city known as the “Silicon Valley of India,” but a walk to capture Street view photos and experience the real lifestyle of the people in Bengaluru, which I want to share in the most detailed and friendly way.
Bengaluru is located on the Deccan Plateau, nearly 900 meters above sea level, making the city cooler than many other cities in India even during the summer. What impressed me greatly was the greenery of this city. The streets are filled with large trees of various kinds providing shade for pedestrians. Walking in Bengaluru does not require an umbrella to block the heat, even under strong sunlight.
I chose to stroll along small and large streets filled with auto rickshaws, also called “tuk-tuks,” and hardworking local people. The sound of car horns mixed with street vendors’ calls created a truly Indian atmosphere that I really enjoyed.
Markets and Street Food: Must-try delights in Bengaluru
One experience I, mr.hotsia, recommend everyone to try is tasting local food at small street stalls. Bengaluru is famous for chicken biryani and rich South Indian cuisine. I myself enjoyed the chicken biryani so much I can’t forget it. The sauces and spices used here differ from those I’ve tasted in other Indian cities, giving a fresh and meticulous flavor.
Additionally, small roadside tea shops called “chai” have their own charm. I sat sipping hot ginger tea while watching people pass by, a scene that made me feel truly at the heart of Bengaluru life.
Exploring the city through the eyes of mr.hotsia
Traveling in Bengaluru is not as difficult as you might think. Buses, tuk-tuks, and ride-hailing apps like Ola and Uber are all convenient options. But what I enjoyed most was walking around the city on foot, as it allowed me to experience the atmosphere and small details that cars cannot reach.
While walking, I noticed communities blending modern high-rise buildings with old-style houses arranged harmoniously. Most people here are kind and warmly welcome tourists. It’s no surprise why Bengaluru is one of the cities people worldwide want to visit.
Why Bengaluru? A city of diversity and opportunity
Bengaluru is not just about technology. I, mr.hotsia, had the chance to experience the simple lifestyle of people in some neighborhoods that still firmly preserve traditional customs, despite being a city full of IT companies and startups.
For those interested in technology and business, Bengaluru is the most advanced city in India and ranks among the top 10 cities worldwide with the most entrepreneurs. However, my trip focused more on the real lives of people rather than visiting IT hubs outside the city that require local connections to enter.
Connecting experiences with other cities in India
For those interested in exploring more of India, I recommend reading about my travel experiences in other cities I have visited, includingBackpacking Chennaiwith its seaside markets and distinct culture, orBackpacking Mumbaia port city full of history and beautiful architecture. All of these help complete a clearer picture of India.

Summary of mr.hotsia’s impressions from Bengaluru
Bengaluru is a city that perfectly blends modernity and local culture. It is ideal for those who want to experience a city life that is not rushed and to taste authentic Indian food. This Street view walk in Bengaluru gave me a perspective very different from the usual image of a technology city in the news.
If you are looking for a genuine and unique Indian experience, I, mr.hotsia, recommend taking a walk in Bengaluru. You will love this city as much as I do.
