From the bus station to the city center, there are jumbo tuk-tuks costing 40 baht per person.
Waiting at the bus stop is easy as there is not much traffic passing through the city. Staying at Baan Phuthawong, the owner of buses running from Attapeu to Sekong, Pakse, and sleeper buses between Attapeu and Vientiane, is convenient because you can catch their buses to the main routes.
