At Pakxong, there are many beautiful waterfalls including Tad Yeung and Tad Fane, which are close to each other about 20 kilometers from Pakse and about 7 kilometers before Pakxong. Tad Fane Waterfall is a tall waterfall for viewing, not for swimming or jumping into the water. There is accommodation at the waterfall viewpoint, a restaurant, and resting areas to enjoy the waterfall. Entrance requires a small fee and parking charge.
From Tad Fane Waterfall heading back towards Pakse, a few kilometers away there is a right turn to Salavan city. About ten kilometers in, there is a left turn to another waterfall. This waterfall is another beautiful spot worth visiting.
