Backpacking in Luang Prabang, hotel recommendations in Luang Prabang, support exciting travel by booking hotels here. This trip explores northern Laos over several months, traveling through various provinces until reaching Luang Prabang. Food and drink here are not as convenient as in Thailand. Coffee is similar, mostly traditional brewed coffee like rural Thai style. I live simply and spend frugally to save enough money to fully document my travel experiences.

I often think back to the taste of blended cappuccino from Doi Chang Frespe or Starbucks espresso frappuccino, but I can't quite recall. Many meals and days I drank instant coffee plain, brewed with cold water, or when very short on time, just plain coffee powder. Surprisingly, I discovered a new taste I had never experienced before. Happiness in life comes from hope, just like coffee’s flavor depends on the atmosphere, not just the coffee itself.

Good coffee comes with a great atmosphere, like Joma Coffee which I am about to recommend. Today in Luang Prabang it’s very hot; tourists mostly stay in air-conditioned rooms reading books. Limited by time, when it gets too hot, I come to Joma Coffee to cool down. Luang Prabang is a small town where air-conditioned coffee shops with internet were rare until a few years ago.

Booking a flight back to Bangkok is easier than finding such cafes here. As tourism grows, demand increases, and more shops like this will open, similar to Vientiane where True Coffee has opened branches. I hope one opens in Luang Prabang soon. Joma Coffee offers a relaxed atmosphere. The shop is a beautiful old two-story house with seating upstairs and downstairs, totaling over 20 tables. Most customers are foreigners. Price tags and signs are mainly in English. The shop is located on a corner.

If you walk 20 meters south from Luang Prabang Post Office, Joma Coffee is on the same side as the post office. The shop’s highlight is its beautiful old house setting, making you feel part of Luang Prabang’s World Heritage. Joma offers fresh cakes and cookies daily because customers keep coming and nothing is wasted. From what I see, they are very professional; expired or leftover items are surely discarded. This is why they have overcome the cycle of opening and closing businesses. Staff are friendly and smiling.

It’s no surprise this shop is the top choice for many Thai visitors. Joma Coffee invests seriously in their business with an official website. They do considerable marketing; I’ve seen their ads at transport stations. I escaped the heat here to plan my website, thinking how to present it so everyone enjoys and follows my travel stories. I relaxed and reflected on many life events related to the website.

At Joma Coffee, I concluded that Hotsia will present travel stories from a tourist’s perspective, sharing experiences through Hotsia’s website using YouTube and blogs as support. Hotsia.com will definitely not become a TV show. I hope friends who read my travel stories will recommend them further :) Hehe, thanks in advance. I spent two hours here until the sun set and the wind cooled. I plan to run up to Phousi Stupa today

to watch the sunset and see how beautiful it is. Thanks to Joma Coffee for inspiring many good thoughts in this shop... Mr.Hotsia May 2010. mr.hotsia recommends hotels in Luang Prabang. Blended cappuccino at Joma Coffee Luang Prabang. Inside atmosphere of Joma Coffee Luang Prabang. This coffee shop is cozy, coffee tastes great, and the air conditioning is refreshingly cool. This is Joma Coffee (joma coffee map) Luang Prabang. It’s really hot outside, you could melt, so I escaped the heat here for two hours. Inside atmosphere of Joma Coffee

Coffee ordering corner, also selling shirts, with Lao and English newspapers to read. Joma Coffee focuses on bakery and bread sales. You won’t be disappointed eating here; fresh daily cakes and desserts pair well with coffee. In front of Joma Coffee, there is usually one security guard standing as company. Few people stay outside because it’s extremely hot. Nearby is an alley with cheap accommodation; go to the second floor at the back to see it. The second floor of Joma Coffee is quiet and peaceful, perfect for working. The landing between the first and second floors

is in front of the restroom at the back. Inside Joma Coffee is well decorated. Food and drink menu includes Cranola Bar at 40 baht each. Isn’t Joma Coffee a nice place to sit? I love the coconut cake... yum yum yum
