There are many shops behind Dara Market to choose from. Eating crispy pork skin with morning glory is a great combination. They also serve rice noodles or fermented rice noodles, which go perfectly together. Do not miss trying Luang Prabang's Lao papaya salad, I sincerely urge you.
Almost forgot, there is a grilled pork shop at the evening market that I tasted and found delicious. Try buying about 300 grams to sample. Other recommended foods include walking the morning market to find various steamed dishes, Luang Prabang sour sausage, then buy sticky rice with grilled items. You can eat near Prachaniyom shop while observing the lifestyle of Luang Prabang people. I think it's excellent. For breakfast, if you want something light, I recommend rice noodles with spicy dipping sauce or rice porridge, available at many shops starting at 40 baht.
