Then dip it in curry sauce or something similar. I saw many shops selling Mataba roti, often paired with Burmese coffee, which includes milk, coffee, and some white powder. For breakfast, people also eat fried rice. I found a popular shop that makes fried rice with a delicious fried egg. For lunch, I tried seafood in Dawei but it was not as satisfying as I expected. Communication was difficult; I ordered grilled shrimp but got stir-fried shrimp instead. Even if someone speaks Thai, don't assume they fully understand you; they just try hard because they want your business.

In summary, seafood in Dawei is definitely cheaper than in Thailand, but I couldn't find the right restaurant. If anyone knows, please tell me as I plan to revisit. I recommend a restaurant with a nice view, located in the largest shopping mall I think in Dawei today, a multi-story building with floors 1-3.

The mall sells goods, and the rooftop floor is a shop selling smoothies, coffee, and cakes. From the top floor, you can see almost the entire city of Dawei. This shop is very popular. The recommended time to visit is in the evening before dark to watch the sunset and enjoy Dawei's night atmosphere. Food here is not expensive. This shop is located right next to Garden Hotel, on the left corner of the street. mr.hotsia October 2013. Recommended hotels in Tanintharyi Region. Burmese Thang Taek dessert.
