There are shops selling clothes and souvenirs made from seashells, similar to old Bang Saen. Fresh seafood is fried and served. After the beach visit, they will take you to the nearby Dawei hot springs.
After visiting the beach, locals come to bathe in the mineral water and rinse with fresh water here. There are two pools. I heard there is a hotel at Dawei beach for those who love the sea and want to stay by the shore. As for me, I prefer to explore local life, so I stayed in Dawei city. Regarding seafood, from what I saw at Dawei market, it seems famous for fresh shrimp, crab, fish, and squid in large quantities. However, I couldn't find a direct seafood restaurant. Maybe because it’s a small town, people cook seafood themselves. I stopped by a place called Coconut.
Just before reaching Dawei beach on the right, I ordered grilled shrimp at 300 baht per kilogram and a plate of squid. It satisfied my seafood craving in Dawei.
