Affordable and Good Guesthouses in Yangon (Yangon guesthouse) The guesthouse hotel I recommend in Myanmar is Okinawa Guesthouse. Okinawa Guest is a good and affordable accommodation located in downtown Yangon near the Pagoda Mosque. I recommend staying here for better prices than elsewhere, or you can book a hotel via Agoda in case you arrive late. The room rate at Okinawa Guesthouse Yangon is 750 Baht (25 USD) per night if staying alone or for two nights.
900 Baht (30 USD). It’s within walking distance to the market. Taxi fare to Shwedagon Pagoda is 60 Baht or 2,000 Kyat. Another hotel I stayed at, booked online via Agoda, is May Shan Hotel, 1,500 Baht per night. It has WiFi in the lobby downstairs and includes breakfast. The hotel is right next to the Pagoda Mosque, very central. However, I think the price is a bit high and there is no window at this price. I stayed at two hotels in Myanmar without any windows in the rooms.
