Bangkok Thai Lion Air

Lion Air is a low-cost airline operating on many routes in Thailand. Originally serving Indonesia, I used it for Chiang Rai to Bangkok Don Mueang.

Free baggage allowance of 15 kilograms. However, when I tried booking in advance up to six months ahead for the Chiang Rai to Bangkok route, no Thai Lion Air flights appeared. I once booked for the wrong month and had to reschedule; the change fees plus fare difference were usually more expensive than buying a new ticket. Be careful when booking flights to avoid wrong month bookings—I made this mistake more than twice in the past two years. Thai Lion Air offers in-flight meals, including chicken basil with omelet, which I haven't had the chance to try yet.
Food and drinks are available for purchase on the plane. I like Thai Lion Air because you don't have to pre-book baggage since 15 kg is free. Mr.Hotsia enjoyed the trip in May 2015. Booking hotels in Bangkok was cheaper than Thai Lion Air. Thai Lion Air operates at Don Mueang Airport. Mr.Hotsia likes it because of the free baggage allowance. Thai Lion Air offers standard seats and in-flight meals like rice with basil and minced shrimp omelet.
